• This is something a friend of mine and myself have been thinking over. Using my works as a catalyst for young artists to add or finish as they see fit and then to color the images. I will keep the works somewhat vague so as not to hinder the child’s creativity, and still have some form of an obvious image to motivate and or inspire their interest.

    My friend will offer up her writing skills with a storyline that will further encourage the child’s perception and visual concepts. I think together we can help in molding some young artists that will look more towards the classical arts of the world. When people actively created with passion and a rich pallet of lines and brush strokes.

    People today are losing their roots and children are the ones that will suffer for it. Taping a banana to a wall is not art, AI, is not art, its taking information to create your prompt with what data it has in its system. The history of the world has been founded on the arts and music and we are losing that at an alarming rate. We need to keep our children in that organic mindset, we need to do our best to keep them grounded and level headed; and creative!

  • Even though I spent a lot of time on my grandmothers old tank of a typewriter, I did eventually move onto my gift of drawing. This is what brought in many of my dearest and oldest friends to date. I was the guy in the corner with a pad of paper and a highly toxic sharpie. I have been re-acquainting myself with this line form. I’m sharing here just a few from this year, 2025, but I do plan on creating fresh ones for the new year. These are usually 9×12 or 11×14 acid free paper and ink. I hope you will enjoy them, and even connect so that I may appreciate your work as well. Thank you.

  • I was drifting this morn under the canopy of a fluid white snow,

    gently it came upon me with its subtle nature,

    With my feet frozen in place and my eyes wide to see,

    a song came drifted to me.

    .

    Summer and spring swayed to the notes,

    while falls temperament revered the tempo,

    but over all it still continued to flow,

    waves upon waves until all were dead in white,

    and the chorus rang out in soft mellows.

    .

    Perhaps and just maybe,

    the winds will chime in with a bellow;

    but alas the survey has come to its close,

    and my feet are loosened once more,

    my treks they lead me on,

    one footing over boot and onward,

    to the place that calls my serenity,

    a smoke, a drink, and a fire.

    .

    But the drift comes in;

    and more.

  • In 2015 my Pops (grandfather) and I decided to publish a bunch of my writings I had been been putting together since I was 16. Much of it had been updated and re-written over time as I matured and learned more about that particular form of expression.

    I hated every minute of the process. Honestly, the company I chose to try this with did very little. They gave me bad advice on my own writing and stuck me with the most generic back cover wording ever. I felt pressured to get it done and when it came to the cover, I explained what I wanted and they sent me chunks of images, instead of a cover. So naturally I winged it and made my own, also a big mistake. Laughs.

    However through all of it, I at least knew that these works would be copyright protected and I could always go through and re-write whatever needed to be corrected. Maybe I’ll even look into re-publishing the works through a more professional and interested party.

    The book is called, Trumpets Will Fill The Sky. Its 200 pages of obscure poems and short stories, strange oddities of words that move in sound across your mind. I may not have sold a million, but the few people that have reached out have told me that they were moved by what was written. That, I greatly do appreciate.

    The works I will show moving forward will be new and maybe even build up to a new publication. I hope you enjoy what I produce and I look forward to meeting others of a like mind. Thank you.
